Honestly it was the best £90 I have ever spent I wish I had shellebrations there for the whole party she came in and sort a very loud and crazy lot of 10 year olds. My daughter had her nursery graduation party today where Shell from Shellebrations provided the entertainment and believe me when I say she has not stopped talking about her since! The children had an absolute blast from start to finish and I must say from all the stories I'm hearing from my little one I am slightly gutted I didnt get to witness this for myself. Couple of the quotes from my daughter "Shell was sooooo funny" "it was so magic how did that even happen" and my favourite "mummy it was my best day ever" Honestly thank you so much for making my little girls last day of nursery so special Look forward to seeing it for myself soon as we will definitely be booking for future parties xx

I saw Shell do glitter tattoos and entertainment at a 4th Birthday party a couple of weeks ago. I thought it was such a good balance of entertainment and the tattoos for the kids as there was also a soft play involved too. She was sooo engaging with the kids and they absolutely loved her stories and games. My wee girl had a ball with her and I loved watching too. So much so I have booked her for my daughters birthday party

What types of entertainment do you offer?

I provide a range of exciting entertainment for children, including interactive games, glitter tattoos, storytelling, themed parties, and more! I tailor each event to fit your needs. There is no idea that is too over the top, so if you're unsure, just ask. 

What age groups do you entertain?

I specialize in entertaining children aged 3-10 years old, ensuring age-appropriate fun for everyone!

How long does a typical session last?

Most sessions run 60 - 120 minutes, but I can adjust the duration based on your needs. Additional time is usually required if you want activities and games along with glitter tattoos for example. 

Do you do themed parties?

Absolutely! Whether it’s superheroes, princesses, pirates, unicorns, or anything else, I can tailor the entertainment to match your theme.

How far in advance should I book?

I recommend booking at least 10-12 weeks in advance, especially for weekends and holidays. Last-minute bookings are possible if I have availability.

How do I book you?

Easy! You can book by calling, emailing, or filling out the booking form on my website. A small deposit of £25 is required to secure your date. Full payment is due 4 weeks before the event. 

Where can the party take place?

I can perform at homes, halls, schools, community centres, parks, and more! Just ensure there’s enough space for the entertainment and children can move around safely.

How many children can attend?

My entertainment is best suited for groups of up to 10 children if it's a house party or up to 25 children in a bigger venue. For larger groups, I may suggest extra time or additional entertainers.

Do you need any equipment or setup?

I bring everything I need! It's sensible to put me next to a power outlet. For all parties, I bring a speaker and props but disco lights are also available. 

What is your cancellation policy?

If the client cancels the event at least 90 days before, the deposit will be refunded minus a 10% (of the full amount) administration fee. If the client cancels at least 60 days before the event, the deposit will be forfeited. If the client cancels less than 28 days before the event, the entertainer will retain 50% of the total payment. If the client cancels less than 5 days before the event, the entertainer will retain ALL of the total payment. If the entertainer cancels for any reason, all payments made will be refunded to the client in full.

Do you have insurance?

Yes! I have public liability insurance for peace of mind.

Are you part of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme?

Yes, I've got my PVG Scheme Membership for working with children.

About me

My name is Shell, and I was born in Zimbabwe. I moved to the UK when I was 17, and in the last 20+ years, I've worked with children with learning disabilities in Nurseries, further Education, and Training, and most recently, set up an award-winning business in retail. I'm a mum of 2 little boys and I live with my husband and children in East Kilbride. I learnt how to be funny from a very important man in my life, my dad, and I remember being on stage and performing with him from a very young age.

I thrive on seeing other people enjoy themselves, and LOVE to entertain. I decided in 2024 that I wanted to do something I think I’m good at. Something that would work around my family life and something that would make my children proud. Now that might be a different story when they’re teenagers - but let’s be honest - what teenagers aren’t embarrassed by their parents?

By doing this, I hope to make others happy and in turn, have as much fun with my children while I still can.
